We are a family business with a history rooted in entrepreneurship. Our father, Juan Vicente Álvarez, founded a modest electrical installation workshop in our grandmother's house years ago. Since then, we have grown and evolved in the business world. Prosperity led us to expand and serve large companies in various sectors, from glass to food distribution.
Eventually, the three brothers joined the business. Together, we created a synergy with our main client, expanding throughout the Iberian Peninsula.
However, not all entrepreneurial paths are easy, and the 2008 financial crisis hit us hard. Despite the difficulties, we did not give up and in 2012, we launched a new project focused on the distribution of electrical materials in the Caribbean, thanks to the trust of good friends and customers.
This is how Grupo Plasvisa Export S.L. was born, with the vision of being leaders in the supply of materials for building finishes and offering integral solutions to our customers. Today, each of us leads different departments, with the experience of our father backing us in the growth of the company.
In our entrepreneurial journey, we have learned that "the path is more important than the goal", as the Greek poet Kavafis said. We face resistance in every change, but we see every challenge as an opportunity. Every project is a new journey, an exciting challenge that we live together with our motivated team. We enjoy learning and growing together, always looking for our clients' satisfaction as our main goal.
